This is an Ontolog community events and strategic initiatives planning session - Alll members are welcome to join, especially if you want to get involved and/or help shape the future of Ontolog and its events. You don't have to be an Ontolog veteran or have participated at a previous planning session to come to this one.

    • Peter now contacting Simon Frechette of NIST to coordinate the logistics
    • soliciting support from Ontolog members who are involved with standards development organizations
    • Barry is requesting Fabian to help coordinate NCOR efforts and contributions (since he straddles between NCOR and NIST)
    • Rex: try making sure sure the OASIS Symposium and the Ontology Summit dates don't clash (as they did before)
    • we will soon be rolling out: planning meeting, launch session, virtual discourse (forum & virtal panel sessions) which culminates in a F2F workshop at NIST in Spring 2009 ... stay tuned!
