Agenda

1. Report on the planning for the Ontology Summit 2017

There have been three Ontology Summit 2017 Pre-Launch meetings so far, and material for the topic and suggested tracks have been developed. See http://ontologforum.org/index.php/OntologySummit2017 for details. There are links to the Pre-Launch meeting pages as well as the track pages. The pages for the three suggested tracks are actually blogs.

2. Discussion of the topic and tracks for the Ontology Summit

See http://ontologforum.org/index.php/OntologySummit2017

3. Discussion of the starting time for Ontology Summit sessions

The doodle poll result was 12:30pm EST, the same as the current time of Ontolog meetings, albeit on a different day of the week. However, the participation level of the poll was not very high.

4. Formation of the Ontology Summit Organizing Committee

The Organizing Committee is charged with the final selection of topics and tracks, and the selection of co-chairs and the schedule.

5. Scheduling the face-to-face Ontology Summit Symposium

This should be decided as quickly as possible because of the need to make reservations.

6. Discussion of the new blogging capability

I have succeeded in adding blogging to the Ontolog Community wiki. If you go to the main page of the wiki at http://ontologforum.org you will see a Blog tab at the top of the page. Clicking on this tab will take you to the page that has the blog procedures. The URL of the blog procedures page is http://ontologforum.org/index.php/Blog. Suggestions for improving the procedures are welcome.
