    • This presentation gives an overview of some hazards in or from space, followed by a description of the author's project developing ontologies and other knowledge organization systems for astronomy and astronautics (spaceflight). As a personal project to date, the author welcomes formal work collaborations and phd study opportunities to sustainably develop.     (2B1A)
  • Robert has been a member of the Ontolog community for 10 years. Some focus areas are formal ontology, conceptual modeling, and terminology. Specific modeling domains include space, maritime, as well as foundational concepts, ethics and methodology. He serves in IAOA committees, semantic committees elsewhere, as well as discipline specific committees in aerospace and marine organizations. He has a MA in philosophy, with interdisciplinary coursework including space studies, and knowledge representation. Currently he is actively open to PhD and continuing education opportunities.     (2B2)
