- Are today's ontology tools really Semantic Web aware? Do supporting URI identifiers and description logic really suffice?     (1C3)
- A point raised by Bobbin Teegarden in http://ontolog.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?ConferenceCall_2014_02_20:     (1C3A)
- Would love URLs to visualization tools. The one's I've seen present 'isA' trees, which don't really show the rich ontology around them. In the presence of the plethora or Big Ontologies, it would be great to see a target item plus a few 'rings' out from that focal point, with the ability to refocus on other things presented.     (1C3A1)
- How can existing ontology tools, services and techniques be scaled to Big Data?     (1C4)
- How can existing tools and techniques be evolved to maintain a high quality of service in the face of Big Data? Or do we need new tools and techniques?     (1C5)
- A point raised by Tim Finin in http://ontolog.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?ConferenceCall_2014_01_16:     (1C5A)
- Here's a question I think we must address: Many big data applications require or invite statistical and probabilistic models and reasoning. How can/will we address this?     (1C5A1)
- Thinking positively: what _new_ ontology-based services does Big Data enable?     (1C6)
- Do ontologies even help to make Big Data manageable at all?     (1C7)
