Dr. Samir Tartir

  • Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Information Systems at Philadelphia University (Jordan).

Dr. Samir Tartir is a researcher in the areas of Ontologies, Semantic Web, NLP, and Big Data analysis.

He has a PhD in Computer Science degree from the University of Georgia (2009), a Master's in Computer Science degree from the University of Jordan (2002) and a BSc in Computer Science degree from the University of Jordan (1998).

Dr. Tartir worked as a database developer and analyst in different locations, including CCS Jordan, Integrant (Jordan & USA) and Padgett Business Services (USA).
