This is the page to describe the Ontology Summit 2007 Process

Process Deliverables

  • 3 months of rigorous virtual discourse
    • dialog over the [ontology-summit] forum
    • possible use of survey(s)
    • summarize, synthesize, organized and displayed on the wiki (with support from editors)
  • Coordinate and reduce finding and conclusions into a written communique
  • 1.5 days of face-to-face technical workshop (whole day Apr. 23 & morning of Apr. 24, 2007 at NIST, Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA)
  • a Half day symposium which will be opened to the public and the press, where our key messages and the joint communique will be presented

The Process

The 6-step previously referred to as "draft-2" process is officially adopted (at the 2007.03.20 meeting)

Our 6-Step Process

  • 1. Identify constituency representative
