Alexander Belin
Alexander began his career with two Master’s degrees in Space Engineering and spent over 20 years in the space industry, contributing to advanced aerospace projects. Over time, his professional orbit shifted toward IT—first as a software developer, then as a systems and business analyst, and eventually as a consultant. This transition brought his engineering mindset into new domains, where he applied the same precision and curiosity to complex information systems and digital transformation initiatives.
His interest naturally evolved into semantic technologies and the machine-understandable representation of knowledge through ontologies, taxonomies, and knowledge graphs. Over the past year, Alexander has been developing a practical concept for an ontology and knowledge management system (KMS) to support business analysis as a profession. His work focuses on structuring knowledge about skills, roles, tools, and methods to help organizations better manage expertise and learning. He has shared his ideas and experience as a speaker at leading conferences such as the Building Business Capability (BBC) conference, BAistanbul, and events hosted by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), contributing to the global BA community and advancing conversations on semantic design and professional development.
