Sameera Abar has joined Clarity Centre for Sensor Web Technologies, School of Computer Science and Informatics, University College Dublin as a post-doctoral researcher of IRCSETs Enterprise Partner Fellowship Scheme with IBM-Research, Ireland. Scope of her current research concerns with the deployment of intelligent multi-agent based technology for the autonomic resource management of exascale supercomputing system.

Key focus of her past research was on Multi-agent Computing, Knowledge-based Systems, and Ontologies for Knowledge Representation and Automated Reasoning Environments; more specifically, practical implementation/deployment of advanced prototype systems in the area of "Next-Generation Real-world Intelligent Knowledge-based Support Systems employing Multi-agent / Ontology Technologies".
