Mark (Ming-Chin) Lin is a third-year PhD student at University of Utah, Biomedical Informatics Department and is researching on the topic - "Profiling of LOINC usage across institutions and enterprises, to determine whether LOINC is meeting its goals". The research goal is to build a systematic framework for evaluating standard terminology - LOINC by anlyzing current LOINC usage across three large institutions, which include ARUP, Intermountain and Regenstrief institute. Committe members are Stan Huff (Chair), Clem McDonald, Bruce Bray, Peter Haug and Lewis Frey.
