Mark (Ming-Chin) Lin is a third-year PhD student at University of Utah, Biomedical Informatics Department and is researching on the topic - "Profiling of LOINC usage across institutions and enterprises, to determine whether LOINC is meeting its goals". The research goal is to build a systematic framework for evaluating standard terminology - LOINC by anlyzing current LOINC usage across three large institutions, which include ARUP, Intermountain and Regenstrief institute.
