Robert J. Rovetto

Robert is a formal ontologist, philosopher, and actively-applying / aspiring student, searching globally for work and study opportunities. Output includes over 20 written works since 2011, all but two unfunded or personal efforts: journal & conference papers, (inter)national standards, national agency manuals, project reports; as well as collaborative projects including open data/sci. Focus areas include: terminology and knowledge representation; conceptual modeling; upper or foundational ontology; foundational concepts; ontology development methodology; ontology for aerospace, maritime, and emergency response; ethics of/in ontology. Activities & Service include in the IAOA Education Committee, Semantic Web and Applied Ontology Special Interest Group; invited manuscript reviewer for Journal of Applied Ontology; and co-organizer on the first Education Series on Applied Ontology.
