GENERAL STATEMENT: I find value, drive and motivation in work that that aims at positively contributing to humanity in some respect. With regard to applying ontology, biomedical projects supporting or researching illness most conspicuously have that aim and are thus of particular, but NOT exclusive, interest. Space science informatics is of high interest as well, with a potential PhD topic in mind for this area. I value a balanced work-life situation, feedback and open communication in the workplace, learning from others, constructive criticism, flexibility, and seeing the "big picture".     (1A5)
