Ontolog PSMW

The enhanced wiki platform for Ontolog started January 2013. Prior to that, the Ontolog wiki ran predominantly on the wiki engine called "PurpleWiki" which is a variant of usemod wiki enhanced by Eugene Kim and ChrisDent.

PSMW is the acronym for "Purple SemanticMediaWiki" - a variant of MediaWiki (the same wiki engine that wikipedia runs on) enhanced with extensions to support semantic technology and PurpleNumbers.

The wiki platform for Ontolog was upgraded to more recent versions of MediaWiki and SemanticMediaWiki as of December 2022 and no longer supports purple numbers.
