5) Communications, logistics, & work protocols issues     (1F11)

  • Kurt will edit the MeetingsCalls page:     (1F13)
    • add dates at the front of each bullet     (1F13A)
    • list all Thursdays, and mark it as "open" if the date does not already have an event scheduled     (1F13B)
  • Consensus:     (1F15)
    • only ongoing series organizers will be in positions to firm up dates for events on the MeetingsCalls page (essentially referring to the Thursday event slots)     (1F15A)
    • the series' should have a pre-agreed frequency of their events already sanctioned by the planning team (i.e. active members who join in at the "operations planning and review" meetings)     (1F15B)
    • dates may be taken up on a first-come-first served basis     (1F15C)
    • for major events (like ontology summit), organizers should "block off" the date(s) even when it is not totally firmed up     (1F15D)
    • organizers may use the term "proposed" and "tentative," as appropriate     (1F15E)
    • a more rigorous policy will be developed if we run into too many conflicts     (1F15F)
