Anthony Durity

Anthony Durity is a doctoral candidate in digital humanities with a predominant focus on philosophy. A project I am involved in is creating a philosophy archive of notable works. From those texts controlled vocabularies, taxonomies, and ontologies are being generated semi-manually and fully computationally. The entities this project are tracking are philosophical figures, jargon specific to philosophy, philosophical terms and concepts, areas and branches of philosophy, notable works in philosophy, reference works in philosophy, philosophical journals, and so on. Therefore there is an interest here in complete ontologies for philosophy and the current state-of-the-art thinking regarding ontologies for philosophy.
