I have a [[PhD]] in organizational psychology, psychosocial development. I have worked for 16 yrs. in healthcare systems management and planning. I am currently concerned with multiple towers of Babel between medical devices, clinical practices, and electronic medical records, and how ontology alignment can be promoted to get these complex, life-critical systems to work together better, to improve clinical quality, operational efficiency, and reduce lifecycle costs.

My personal objectives are in the creation of system lifecycle ontology for medical devices; in identifying ways to align medical device design requirements ontologies with clinical workflow ontologies, and to promote this kind of standardization effort as an ongoing academic endeavor.

My interest is in translating ITIL service management model into performance requirements for medical devices; develop and socialize a clearer, shared model of medical device interoperability criteria and related production roadmap goals.
