BORO Solutions Limited,
England, UK.

'''Chris Partridge''' is the Chief Ontologist at [http://www.BOROSolutions.co.uk BORO Solutions]. He also does research at Brunel University. He has a background in philosophy and building business application systems. He has
been working in applying ontology to business systems since 1987.

Since then he has divided his time between research and commercial work. His interest in ontology is using it as the semantic foundation for rebuilding business application systems, in particular as the basis for a top ontology. To this end he has developed the BORO methodology for architectural transformation and legacy modernization of application systems. An early version of this is described in his book [http://www.amazon.co.uk/Business-Objects-Re-engineering-Chris-Partridge/dp/0955060303/ref=sr_1_2/026-6842312-7789259 Business Objects: Re-engineering for Re-use].
