I am a post-doc at the University of Münster, Germany, in the [http://musil.uni-muenster.de MUSIL group]. My main area of interest is the development of semantic reference systems for describing geospatial data. These are formal systems about geographic referents, such as places, events, objects and their qualities. I was visiting scholar at UCSB, working with Prof. Krzysztof Janowicz on "place reference systems", i.e., semantic reference systems for geographic places. I am a post-doc at the University of Münster, Germany, in the MUSIL group. My main area of interest is the development of semantic reference systems for describing geospatial data. These are formal systems about geographic referents, such as places, events, objects and their qualities. I was visiting scholar at UCSB, working with Prof. Krzysztof Janowicz on "place reference systems", i.e., semantic reference systems for geographic places. I wrote my Ph.D. at the University of Münster on information grounding (Grounding geographic information in perceptual operations).
