        • (Rex / Max): not everyone are advocating the the use of public registries as the optimal solution for SOA, though

  • A brief from the OASIS Interoperability conference and the ebXML effort (BobSmith)
    • Bob: a lot of what has transpired is relevant to our upcoming F2F workshop
      • Ontolog is probably the largest faction that is pushing for a semantic technology solution there
  • Engaging UN/CEFACT
    • Kurt: suggest we schedule a UN/CEFACT-ONTOLOG joint teleconference (hopefully on a Thursday) so that we can do a focused discussion
      • will need to follow-up with BillMcCarthy & Anders Tell
      • Rex: there will be a joint OASIS-ITU conference in Oct. 2006 (UN/CEFACT & ebXML is related somehow)
  • Bob and Nicolas will work on the ontological lessons learned in our exercise on RegularConferenceCall scheduling -- (Bob / Nicolas - please bring closure to this item) - discussion postponed (unless we have time) - Bob agreed that's we will take this off the agenda.
